crap, left 1 more week.. no, left 6 more days till next tuesday - econs paper ):

I can't study finish! can only hope for the best I guess.

actually planned one week one subject, but don't know why, things never go according to plan /:

this holiday went back for physics alumni programme for 4 times.

this saturday will be the last time. I really learnt alot from these sessions.

it's like consultation but instead of consulting teachers, we consult the alumni.

it's suppose to be 1 alumni to 2 students, but because the other student never attend since the first session, there's only me with the alumni in-charge.

went JB on last friday.

wanted to take train before the train station at Tanjong Pagar close down, bu the trains were too early or too ex or booked. so my family took mrt to Kranji and took bus 170 to Malaysia custom. it's the first time I took public bus to JB hahaha!

at night the train was supposed to arrive in Malaysia at 9pm, but it was delayed till 10.30pm, latest 11pm. so we took bus back to Singapore.

hais.. so fast 'holiday' ending soon.

I had a nightmare yesterday. I never want that nightmare to come true, not even a near Deja Vu feeling.

anyways, 15 more days till school reopen, which means MID-YEAR EXAM! argh.. time is running out. haven't finish studying yet. now I really understand the meaning of 'so much to do, so little time'. seriously, how to finish studying 40 odd chapters for MYE leh?
and I wanna pass all subjects somemore. at least that's what Mr Kwek hope to see from last time's talk. I guess I can only try my best already..

young alumni polaris programme is ending soon. I have 2 more sessions. postpone ytd's session because I wasn't prepared for it. so I told my alumni that I'll make up during last week of June holidays. he went overseas so I can't have make-up session this week and Saturday there's another session. so.. most probably last week of holidays bahh.

went for hair cut today.
no idea why I ask the person to cut short my hair. I just wanted to trim a bit and layer it. in the end, he cut till it's almost shoulder length ): and it's frizzy now.
I asked him to trim, he ask me how much, so I anyhow point. then he say that's 2 inches and that's not trim. I thought 2 inches was okay, so I told
him to cut. but his 2 inches seem like 6 inches.
I asked for layer but my hair doesn't seem layered. and I wanted to cut slant fringe, in the end.. I don't know what it is now.
that person's attitude wasn't very good in the first place. but he seem to be nicer to another lady who was there to highlight her hair. wth?!
ahhhh.. just hope my hair grow back soon. it just look crappy now. omg I miss my hair ):

1022 car-washing day.

I'm dead tired.

2 hours feels like 5 hours. I would rather have been collecting newspapers or visit the elderly home or orphanage. at least we won't be standing under the sun and helping teachers wash their cars. although it's $10 each car.
each group had to wash 2-3 cars today. my group consists of Angela, xuzhuo, Ziyang and me. 4 ppl wash 3 cars. and the cars are all big big ones. mrs heng's, mr sim's and mr zavior chua's cars. we had to clean the car body and windscreens with soap, wash the tire rims and polish the windscreen. my first time washing cars and it happens in jc. and somemore not my car LOL!
it was quite fun. playing with water :X

but if I have a choice, can we do something else next time?
I'm just feeling tired..

today Liyi gave me EEYORE! it's very cute! and yeap, it's "purplish blue" HAHA! (:

for the first time in my entire student life I had to see the principal. imagine my worry.
I guess jc really gave me the experience of all the 'first time's for bad things, such as failing all subjects, getting last in class etc.
today, I was 'invited' by Mrs Lee to go LT3 to listen to Mr Kwek's talk. it was a repeat of what he always say I guess. but really, he know us well. he know that when we have nothing to do, we will open and close the fridge, he know that we don't go for consultations, he know that watching tv can be a way of destress (unlike my mummy who kind of forbid me watching tv). it's not that I dislike consultations. ever since j1, I never go consultation unless compulsory, because I never knew what I don't know, just like what Mr Wan said. it's because we don't know how to apply and not that we don't know what the topics are about. omg he is SOOO RIGHT!
Mr Kwek hope that we can get straight E's for MYE. I also hope so. was hoping I can at least be better prepared for MYE. all the teachers are stressing us out by saying that June holiday is the best time to catch up and revise, if not, there is no time. 5 different subjects, 1 same phrase "spend time and revise well, if not no time". and there are only 4 weeks..

Mrs Lee signed me up for some alumni programme which I think it's only for physics. so I guess every Saturday are booked for physics. hais was hoping probably I could split my holiday into 4 weeks, each week 1 subject for PCME. but now, seem like I need to rethink about it.
oh gosh.. it's busy 'holiday' (I rather refer it to study leave)

Encounter.

Today I had an encounter with this stranger.

I took mrt to school today, so I was waiting at amk platform when I caught this guy's side view while trying to see if can go into the train. he looked like C. his fringe and all that.. but I wasn't very sure if that's him, so I didn't call out his name. so anyways, we missed that train and he was standing beside me. didn't dare to look at him LOL. after that our next train came. I squeezed in, it was freaking squeezy. at first I thought he didn't manage to get in, but when I turned to my side, there he was! we standing damn close and one of his arm was stretched behind me to hold onto a pole. but because we were standing too close, I don't dare turn and look at him hahaha!
when we reached bishan, I squeezed my way through to the other door to alight. I didn't see him alighting, so I thought he going to carry on his journey towards marina bay. but when I reached the circle line platform, omg he was standing there. I was damn certain I alighted first. probably I walked too slow or he walked very fast? or maybe I see wrong person? because when I saw him at circle line platform, I was looking at his front view and I'm quite certain he's not C hahaha! I didn't stand with him. but when lc train came, I didn't see him on the train, maybe because that train terminates at paya lebar, or maybe he was on the train but I didn't see him. it's quite freaky somehow LOL.

anyways I had udon for lunch and dinner today. just when I was craving for udon. guess I won't be eating udon for the time being? xD

JJ scammed me TWICE! he at first say he participating in vlm and dancing, I believed him. after that he say he was kidding. scammed! then I saw the audition form of his group, oh man, scammed! /:
Bryan say their group quite strong, he say scared he lose. hmm guess there's going to be a good show this year (:

holidays seem quite busy. have to go back school wert Saturday for the whole of June holiday for some alumni revision programme that mrs lee signed me up for. then econ I failed block test, so I think need to go back school and write essays (omg), then there's vlm auditions and preparations. and I wanna have outing. woohoo~! how 'interesting' my holiday will be (:

my mummy gave me a hug today while I was doing my math tutorial. it was kind of shocking, and I was like 'woah!'
I can't rmb when was the last time we hugged. I think it was somewhere in June last year.
anyways, she said "give me a hug. it's been so long since we hugged. must study hard and you can be like my collegue's daughter and go overseas for vacation after graduated from university. for now, study hard and get into a university. life will be more enjoyable next time."

makes me realise, now, in today's world, what really matter most is education level.
job application especially. that's why we are all studying so hard and competing against each other. for university places and job opportunities. it makes this world seem so.. competitive. living in a competitive world yet needing to live in harmony. how ironic.
if only education wasn't everything, would life for us students have been better? probably less stressful?
gosh. I wish to find out. but right now, I guess I'll just listen to my mummy and..

I had an AWESOME outing with Minhui, Bryan, Boonkiat and Liyi today!
met Liyi at amk hub at 11am and went to satisfy my craving
after that went minitoons and shop for angela's presents
we bought almost the same thing we bought for Martin hahaha!

went to meet Boonkiat for lunch @pizza hut j8 at 12.30pm
the food took very long to be served.
can see Boonkiat was losing his patience but he kept his cool hahaha
tried their anniversary meals.
it's AWESOME! (:
went to buy gongcha after that
drank what I drank when I went *Scape with Liyi that time
it's still so AWESOME! (:

went to meet Minhui at the Cathay at dhoby ghaut
Bryan was late so we went in first.
met pohrong, Liqi, Bernice, Minhui, Sokying, Kaiyin at the Cathay
so qiao!!!
anyways, the movie Arthur was funny and AWESOME!

went pool place after that
Boonkiat had to go off
the first place was filled
so we walked to the other one
the journey there was funny (:
the second place was full too
so went random shopping
then we decided to go dinner

went Seoul Garden @marina square
it was quite packed
so we waited for 20mins
we went to walk around and saw a big group of crowd
guessed that oversea celebrity coming because Singapore celebrity won't so many ppl bahh I think :X
it turned out to be a Korean lead singer from some group
Bryan say de hahaha!
after that went back to Seoul Garden because they called
it cost $31.75 per person o.o
dinner was fun and AWESOME! (:
it's filled with jokes and games
although we played with the food HAHA!

after that Liyi had to go home
hais.. wanted to go Singapore river together.
so in the end left me, Bryan and Minhui.
we sat along the river and watch ppl play the express swing thing
it's some ride that seem scary yet cool
I told Minhui if we took that we will need another round of dinner
Minhui said this morning's breakfast also will come out
Bryan said 'she meant last night's dinner' HAHA!
after that walked for awhile until my mummy called
so decided to go home since it was about 11pm

for the first time after sooooo long, I hoped that the day won't end. I didn't feel like going home LOL
to summarise, today (yesterday: 22 April 2011) was FUN & AWESOME!
we're so gonna have an outing again ^^

obviously me and Liyi sat there first. what's wrong with her sia?
still give us the gl face. I totally don't want look at her scared I lose my appetite.

if I am not in good mood, I'll push my file back to it's original position.
but oh wells, count her lucky I'm not that pissed today LOL!

which reminded me, ytd someone did the same thing.
Liyi and I saw the corner table got no chair so we sat the 2nd and 3rd table from the back door.
as usual, we went toilet and came back only to find out that our bags are shifted.
and my bag is on the table with no chair.
basically, she STOLE MY CHAIR!
and she act as if nothing happen.
I swear I could have just said to Liyi 'a b**** stole my chair'
but, decided not to. she is not worth for me to scold HAHA!

actually if not because of pw grade A and probably Chinese grade last time, I think my rank point is single digit again.
last year's mid-year was single digit. and that digit '9' has been following me ever since.
seen it on many tests of mine which is totally Deja vu feeling

MY trip!

my young uncle fetch us to the train station @ tanjong pagar.
it was raining heavily and there was a bit of traffic congestion on the highway.
reach around 5.50pm.
the train leave at 6pm.
my mum wanted to pack dinner for us, but we heard the train whistled just then.
so in the end, we didnt pack anything.
on train, we sat at the seats with a table as desinated.
it was cold.
we went down when we were 'passing by' malaysia to check our passports.
we went down again when we reach woodlands.
LOL. then it was time to change seats.
although the new seats got no table, at least the seats were the ones moving forward.
i dislike backwards seats as it makes me 'train-sick'. hahaha. (:
after that went to the train canteen to pack fried rice and noodles.
after that, zzz...

realise there's a man sitting behind my brothers keep looking at my mum and me.
my mum thought he know her.
she didnt ask him, he didnt talk to her either.
he looks familiar though...
my brother heard him saying he going triang too.

bro went down to pack nasi lemak for us.
the rice very hard.

sixth aunt went to fetch us with my cousin who is 6 years old this year.
we went her house.
her house very big.

i think it's a poodle. it's white!

no choice, slept too late.
but because we slept on the train, it wasn't that tiring.
my grandma rushing us to go her house.
saw cousins. they changed alot - attitude. LOL.
got 2 young cousins always dont want me to go home every night.

saw my niece for the first time too. she can walk a little le.
her mum - my eldest cousin - working in KL.
so her mum, my first aunt, take care of her.
she's cute too. looks alot like my eldest cousin. LOL.

of course, we eat too.
my 14 and 15 year-old cousins know how to ride motorcycles.
in malaysia, children know how to ride motorcycles at a young age.
it's common to see ppl around age 13 riding motorcycles too.
they took me on a ride around.
there's a playground near my grandma house.
i love the swing! (:
went to find train tickets for the next day to go home.
but got none.
so went to find bus tickets. RM40 each. 0.0

woke up at 9am.
it's the day to go home.
mixed feelings. looking forward to work at sushi tei, but nervous too.
sad to leave my cousins.
my 15 year-old cousin cry everytime we leave.
i hate farewells. /:
i don't want to leave my two young cousins too.
they won't be that close to me next time.
they're still young. and they can't rmb my name anyways. /:
the bus is nice, but there are less than 10 ppl.
the driver seem pissed with me, my mum and my sec4 bro because we going singapore.
if not, he could stop at johor for the day.

my mum forgot to tell me that she and my youngest brother had dinner.
she made me wait until they finish watching the movie, harry potter.
until 7.45pm. 0.0 since 7pm i was at amk hub.
she yesterday told me to go find them for dinner tgt.
in the end, my third aunt treat them NYNY @amk hub, and she said she forgot tell me.
GREAT. she didnt even sms me. movie more impt eh.
she still never bring me go dinner after that.
still go ntuc buy my brother's socks because he work in hotel need longer black socks.
then after that go look for watch for my youngest brother.
she keep telling my brother "jiejie hungry liao"
but after that still say want buy rings because my third aunt say my mum and dad should "get married again" because my dad got his 'second' life after his last chemo on 12/11/2010.
yeah, it may sound romantic, but HEY. i'm STARVING. ):
so i just keep expressionless and probably frowning.
in the end, she didnt buy rings and watch, waste my time.

told her i want go home cook instant noodles, she say i so 委屈.
so ate meepok. which not very nice.
then after that went buy my brother's watch.
then she still ask me why i keep frowning. -.-

my P6 cousin got back PSLE result today.
she say very bad.
but her younger sister fingered to me she got 258, and she seem pissed that she told me.
258...it's very good le leh. compared to my 236.
she scored 270++ in her prelims, and she aimed for 280.
that's why she so sad bahh.
my fifth aunt said she cried after getting her results.
she wanted to go raffles girls. then her results dont allow.
my mum say if my fifth aunt allow her to go in, they have to pay ~$300 per month or per year, forgot.
which is freaking ex.
oh wells, highest PSLE score this year is 282 from rosyth, heard from liyi.

went sushi tei @thomson plaza today.
don't know if i'm confirmed staff though.
she say she'll call me.
didnt see the funny guy today.
neither was miss karen lee there.
so is the first woman that talk to me.
they only got one vacancy, so yzp cant go.
we went city hall help him look for jobs too.
since i asked him go all the way there and no vacancy.
he interview @ the hand burger and some other food shops.
the soup spoon manager only going tmr, so he say he tmr go there on his way to bugis. LOL.

NYNY @city hall wasn't recruiting.
saw the SHUAI GE again! :D he's still as handsome as ever.

cooked lunch yesterday and today. yesterday we had beehoon soup, today i fried rice.

my grandparents went indonesia for 2d1n, so housework i gotta take care of it.

finished my study time-table today.
wishing mrs lee won't ask from me.
hopefully she forgot or she didn't really wanna see.
i didn't really put much effort.

a few words stuck in my mind since afternoon.
how mrs lee rejected my application for OGL.
being an OGL has been my wish since start of year,
never knew i can't even get to the interview round.
i know there are many applicants, and i might not stand a chance.
especially when they require our results to be filled in the form.
but i still hope i had a chance.
and in the end, i can't.
i still had to make up a study time-table and let mrs lee see by MONDAY.
haissss...
now liyi also not going to apply.
life's back to normal again...hopefully.

watched harry potter and deathly hallows part 1 with liyi today!
nice~ but if in 3D would be scary...
it's the first harry potter movie i watched without reading the book first.
will have to wait for my bro to take back the book from his friend though.
hopefully there'll be time to read.

before the movie, we heard a woman in a cubicle talking on her phone.
her ringtone made me thought it was the PA system.
the other party was saying something about application form.
she told the person she eating, then came a flush.
liyi and I burst out laughing after going out of the toilet.
imagine the person heard it and thought she eating in the toilet. LOL.

after that taste like HL chocolate milk.
it's super thick. quite sweet too.

went job interviews today with Liyi.
saw yonghan on bus going to amk hub.
he dyed his hair blonde. LOL.
met liyi at amk hub.
then went city hall find weichee at soup spoon @ raffles city.
but can't interview today because of some reasons.
so went the hand burger instead.
the lady say they're busy so ask me to fill in a form and they'll call me.

after that went bugis.
filled in a form at soup spoon. LOL.
$5.50 per hour, not bad.
after that went bugis street.
liyi wanted to buy the bag, but the shop like just disappeared. 0.0
then went iluma, nothing much there.
saw derrick there though.
he totally just walk pass me wihout realising. hahaha.

went back bugis junction after that and saw derrick outside cold storage again. LOL.
then while going bugis mrt saw weilih.
bugis super flooded today. probably because public holiday bahh.

today, for the first time i got singled out for being having bad grades for chemistry. LOL.

JC is also the first time i failed so many subjects.

played tennis with Liyi today in school.

okay, more like swinging the rackets and catching the tennis balls.

we don't know how to play.

saw mr joel loo playing with someone else. they played better than us. LOL.

but it was fun.

and the funniest thing was that there was someone who always help us pick up the ball and threw it back across the wall. hahaha. don't know who was that. but THANKS ALOT. :D

yesterday was NYAVA celebration for the success of VIVA LA MUSIC. ♥
it was fun, & funny. LOL.
the seniors were humourous.
i was the only J1 sitting at the table, though sometimes don't really know what they were talking about, but they do tease me alot. -.-
keep teasing me being "malaysian" (I'M NOT)
hahaha.
we went new york new york in city link.
met at orchard mrt first.
at first wanted to go sakura @dhoby ghaut green, but was fully booked for the night. then tried calling swensen's at ion orchard, but the phone was engaged all the while. O.o
so we decide to meet at orchard mrt then decide.
bryan went late. his appetite super big. LOL. after that Xplizit came. don't know why they were there.
hahaha. (:
we spent ard $300, but each got $10 subsidy. i only paid $5 (inc GST) for my $12.90 (exc GST) baked rice. :D
there were 2 groups of ppl celebrating their birthdays there. they sang birthday song. then wenfeng say they cheapo. LOL.
bryan ordered a banana split, when it came, bryan ask the waiter where was the banana, he said it was at the bottom, but he realised he forgot to put, so he took it back. the whole table was laughing. super epic! (:
before we left, the seniors went to tease the waiter about the banana, then the waiter very paiseh. hahaha. :D
there's one group with lots of ballooms. i said i want the balloon, bryan went to asked them for 1 balloon, but got rejected. :/
i didn't know he'll really go ask though.

we went marina square to shop for presents for the 2 emcees for VIVA LA MUSIC - brandon & anita.
we bought lava lamps for them. LOL.
most of the shops were closed.
after that went home.

time flies, seriously.
i didn't even know 5 days have past by.
until i saw the countdown banner yesterday.
regret seeing it.
makes me all tensed up, again.
argh!

math test today
suppose to be yesterday, but mr ___ forgot.
so the whole class woke up earlier on a tuesday morning for nothing.
actually school starts at 9am, but we suppose to reach school by 8am for test, but... :/
so irritated today.
i did one question wrong, when i realised, i change the workings and answers for the first few parts of the 1-question test, then forgot to change the answer for 1 part. 3 MARKS!!!
then the last part is i nvr study properly, 2 marks.
so the maximum marks i can get is 8/13, convert to 100% is only 61%. NO 'A'!!! ):
still thought can get 'A' to pull up my overall result.

I DID MY CHEMISTRY PRACTICAL TODAY WITHOUT HAVING TO COPY! (:
usually my paper will be filled with red ink (my teacher ask us to do corrections in red as she uses green to mark O.o), BUT NOT TODAY!
hahaha. today was quite smooth.
took photos for publishing in newspaper and to rmb VIVA LA MUSIC.
LOL. maybe should take one and just put on notice board.
haven't decorate AVA notice board yet. LOL. so long already.
we discussed about the celebration of the success of VLM, but haven't make any decision yet.
probably only that we MAY BE going Swensen's in Ion Orchard. LOL.

i said i didn't study enough and he left it there.

anyways, today went for my second vaccination.

after that had dinner with my aunts. everytime meet them they'll psycho us about being nice to mum & dad

if things can be better, it would have been.
they keep saying my mum has no time to talk to dad because she works 2 shifts

VIVA LA MUSIC! ♥

Friday's VIVA LA MUSIC was a success.
FULL HOUSE!
LOL. until now still in the viva la music mood.
the dance were awesome! totally cannot miss it!
now that it's over, seem like the j2s are really officially stepping down.

so fast.
we were just having fun with the seniors and they are stepping down.
we just got to know them more and they are stepping down.
i don't mind the lack-of-sleep nights.
can we turn back the clock?
it was fun. really enjoy it.
but it wouldn't be that fun without the audience.
screams and shouts everywhere. (:
hopefully we can do it again next year, with the same enthusiasm.
but the dance groups stepping down!
ahh.
maybe we can ask them back to perform again.

Burnt Water play the song nicer than the original. seriously.
the vocalist sings super good!
A level in danger was good too.
they won the trophy for the band category.
Razzmatazz was great too.
UpDog was okay.

the dance were the highlights of the day.
Xplizit dance was superb!
they totally deserve the trophy for dance category.
BeatzPerMinute wasn't that bad.
it was a close fight.

Kevin won the instrumental category with his electric guitar.
his fingers are very fast.
Take 10 song was repetitve.

diversity category, Fen Ni won.
she composed a song and it was brilliant.
TENS10N was creative with their cheerleading moves.
2BM with their beatboxing.
Delvis and Chee Chiang sang 勇气 by 光良.

from this event, i found out that NYJCians are talented.
hahaha. :D

anyways, friday was the submission of wr.
but still got nagged. sian.
but i seriously think we're not in the wrong.
is really not our fault.
let's just say he bias.

i hate drafts.

sometimes, mum can be unreasonable.
at least that's what i feel she is the previous friday
it was probably one of the worst day

Story.

In a poor country, a war broke out. After the war, a girl was injured. She needs blood as she lost too much blood from her injuries. The nurses were very anxious when they could not find any donators. The people were all afraid.

Finally, a boy volunteered. The nurses were elated. They asked him to follow them into the tent. One of the nurse realised that the boy was trembling and tensed. As she does not speak their language, she ask another nurse to ask him why he was trembling.

After speaking with him for awhile, the nurse found out that the boy thought that after blood donation, he would die. The nurse assured him that he would not die to rescue the girl but she was curious. She asked him why he volunteered to donate his blood when he thought he would die after donating his blood, he replied: because she's my friend.

I'm touched after reading this story. I hope you are too. This story shows the importance of friends. They help you when you are in need.

anyways, it has been a week since my parents talk to each other.
